Descrição: Projeto relacionado aos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) número 5, que visa alcançar a equidade de gênero, e número 16, que visa promover sociedades pacíficas, inclusivas e justas para todos. A constituição da Política Nacional de Saúde Integral da População de Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis e Transexuais (LGBT) em 2011 pelo Ministério da Saúde mostra os esforços do Estado para romper com o histórico de desigualdade e estabelece uma necessidade para o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) sob a égide da promoção do princípio da equidade, da integralidade em saúde e da participação social. O projeto articula-se com as Secretarias de Saúde da região. O projeto tem como objetivo investigar e apoiar a implementação e execução da Política Nacional de Saúde Integral LGBT, por meio de abordagens quantitativas e qualitativas, com análise epidemiológica, da informação sobre a população LGBT, com destaque para o monitoramento de indicadores de violência e a política nacional em tela. Adicionalmente, contempla etapas de qualificação e formação (intervenção) e avaliação. Planeja-se como resultados a qualificação do SUS no que tange a promoção da equidade e a melhora da qualidade de vida da população LGBT.

Description: The establishment of the National Policy for Comprehensive Health Care for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Population in 2011 by the Ministry of Health demonstrates the state's efforts to break with the history of inequality and establishes a need for the Unified Health System (SUS) under the auspices of promoting the principles of equity, comprehensive health care, and social participation. The project is articulated with the Health Departments of the region. The project aims to investigate and support the implementation and execution of the National Policy for Comprehensive LGBT Health, through quantitative and qualitative approaches, with epidemiological analysis, information on the LGBT population, focusing on monitoring indicators of violence. Additionally, it

includes stages of qualification and capacity building (intervention) and evaluation. The planned outcomes include enhancing the SUS in terms of promoting equity and improving the quality of life of the LGBT population.
